CIEE January in Cape Town

I would be likely to recommend CIEE study abroad to a friend or peer because of the life-changing experiences and growth I have had while in the program, and the fact that I think it is possible for all students to experience this while participating in the program.

The staff at Wofford College know exactly what they are doing, they are very friendly and often cultivate fun activities with true local experiences while keeping the students safe. Always willing to sing CIEEs praises

The staff was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. I like that they would give us recommendations of places to go and things to do and how to do it safely. But they also would give us our independence which was great!

I would highly recommend CIEE study abroad to a friend or peer because the staff were amazing, the living accommodations were great, the co curricular and activities were so fun, engaging, and interesting and gave me a great feel of Cape Town in various ways. It allowed me to explore Cape Town entirely.

Because the group excursions that are provided to you from the CIEE program allows you to experience the atmosphere of certain communities at a close hand. There is a revealing of what the local people's lives are like, and there is a cultural diffusion that takes place unlike any other you may have experienced before. I've been loving everything in this program down to the staff, my fellow study abroad peers, to the food that is provided free of no charge!

I think the program was well put together, allowed for a lot of opportunity to see the region (which I absolutely loved) and on top the class course and professor Nompilo was amazing. I learned so much about the history and feel that I can easily recommend this Company to friends and so on.
