The January in Shanghai program is designed to give participants a deeper understanding of China as it emerges to take a leading role in the global economy. The program is appropriate for students with a major or minor in economics, international business, business management, or marketing; or for Chinese or Asian studies majors with an interest in learning more about the business environment in China.

CIEE did a great job organizing events for us to visit and employees were usually pretty responsive. The course however wasn't very engaging and the tour of the Volkswagen factory was pointless and a waste of a day.
