Life changing

Studying abroad was absolutely life changing. Especially with CIEE because I felt cared for. At every step of the way faculty of CIEE expressed diligence, organization, and overall concern for our well being. I am so satisfied with this program and my parents were as well.

A unique and expansive study abroad experience

I thoroughly enjoyed the level of instructional support, experiential learning, and community engagement throughout my program. CIEE did a great job of creating a unique and expansive Study Abroad experience for me.

Hufsa A.August 2023

High qualty instruction

My experience with CIEE was overall very positive. The program was well run, the CIEE facilities in both Ireland and South Africa were excellent, and we had the opportunity to work with high quality staff and instructors.

Perfectly sized programs

I would recommend CIEE becasue I liked the small size of the program in Dublin, Ireland, how everyone is from everywhere, the only thing I could say is to maybe include lunch from the cafeteria at school.

I would absolutely suggest CIEE

I would absolutely suggest CIEE as a program of study for another student. CIEE was the easiest program to apply to, as well as having reasonable application fees and general cost. The excursions were always fun, even if we were doing something that I wasn't particularly interested it, and I learned so much about Ireland that I could probably give the tours now. This program has an element that could be both a positive, and negative aspect depending on who you're asking, but for me it was positive. The sheer amount of free time that we're given. For me, I loved being able to explore the city on my own, meeting new people (honestly, most were transplants from other countries, which was pretty interesting.) and experiencing new things at my own pace. Every program is what you make of it, so whatever kind of experience each student has in this program is pretty dependent on them. This is really different from other programs in that most are used to having their hands held and being directed throughout.

CIEE provides a great balance…

CIEE provides a great balance of helping mediate the transition into a foreign country while also allowing and encouraging independence during the month. This is by far one of the best experiences of my life and would highly recommend this program to anyone! I wish I could stay longer!

CIEE has amazing program advisors

CIEE has amazing program advisors. Very different on-campus culture because it's a commuter campus in Dublin. I definitely recommend it. The location of the university isn't great -- a 20-minute bus ride outside the city.
