Your CIEE Semester Global Internship program in Cape Town lasts 12 weeks. Program Highlights
Manage case files, conduct legal research, and prepare documents at an African feminist legal center.
Assist in the development and implementation of environmental education programs at a non-profit organization that supports urban communities.
Empower women and girl survivors of domestic violence and abuse at an NGO that supports women and girls living in disadvantaged communities.
Experience a tour of South Africa's oldest township (Langa) and learn about all the anti-apartheid movements that stemmed from that community.
Take day trip to Robben Island which was a maximum-security prison that housed most of South Africa's notable liberation activists like Nelson Mandela.
