Paris has been an international hub for ballet since the 17th century when King Louis XIV founded the world's first ballet school in 1661. The Paris Opéra Ballet, established soon after, remains one of the most prestigious ballet companies in the world. With your fellow Global Navigators, use skills learned in and out of the studio to create and perform an original piece reflective of your time in France. Hit the dance studio 5 to 6 hours Monday through Friday for intensive dance training before diving into comprehensive coursework touching on themes of dance history and foundational techniques.
