Program Overview

Ceylon Riding Club is the only international-class horse riding school based in Sri Lanka. We teach children and adults from 3 years upwards. We have 10 beautifully-trained horses and ponies and a 3-acre site in rural Sri Lanka. We also have a special needs club.

We are looking for an experienced equestrian to help us grow in professional way - supporting us in improving our instruction and training of our horses in line with international standards. Animal welfare, health and safety is number one priority.

Operating in sri Lanka has many challenges. You will have a unique and unforgettable experience in one of the most beautiful destinations in the World.

We accept volunteers for a minimum of one month - but would prefer to find someone willing to stay for six months or up to one year.
We are a close-knit family and take good care of our volunteers - many of whom come back year after year.

We only accept people with significant experience with horses and preferrably someone who can assist with lessons and trainng of our horses.

Taking time to explire the country is mandatory - you will experience Sri Lanka unlike any visitor - from the perspective of local families.
