Add first reviewSince 1998

Are you ready to bridge the gap between academic theory and real-world conservation? For more than two decades, Centre for Eco-Cultural Studies (CES) has been a trusted global leader in experiential education. We have proudly hosted international students, academic researchers, and university cohorts, maintaining a long-standing, fruitful collaboration with GoAbroad. Our program focuses entirely on practical field learning, giving you the rare opportunity to actively contribute to tangible, long-term conservation solutions in tropical Asia. Immerse yourself in a historic cultural landscape where ancient heritage intersects with dense dry-zone forests. Located within a vibrant wildlife sanctuary and a UNESCO World Heritage site, the CES Sigiriya Field Base directly borders the renowned Minneriya-Giritale Nature Reserve. Here, interns work directly on the frontlines of tropical conservation, studying how ancient human civilizations and modern wildlife systems coexist in a rapidly changing world. No prior field experience is strictly required. However, a strong work ethic, adaptability to rustic field conditions, and a deep passion for the natural world are all that you need!
