Explore Norwegian life in this unique semester program. Dive into pressing contemporary and historic topics, from the climate crisis and renewable energy to economic equality, immigration, connections to nature, and the welfare state. You will compare Nordic and U.S. approaches to 21st-century challenges alongside your cohort of peers, and will have the opportunity to also collaborate with local and international students at our partner institution, Østfold University of Applied Sciences. Based in Fredrikstad, a small city just south of Oslo, you’ll spend time exploring the region on this program with built-in educational excursions, frequent guest speakers and community-based learning.
