Ceiba Foundation for Tropical Conservation
About Ceiba Foundation for Tropical Conservation
Ceiba Foundation for Tropical Conservation is a non-profit organization founded in 1997, dedicated to connecting tropical nature and sustainable livelihoods through habitat conservation and environmental education. We strive for a world where people and biodiversity thrive together, recognizing that the value of nature is inseparable from human well-being. Our name is inspired by the Ceiba tree, a symbol of intact forests, providing shelter for wildlife and protecting both humanity and nature. We focus on promoting the value of nature by supporting the protection and restoration of ecosystems, while improving the well-being and livelihoods of local communities. We respect the values and contributions of all cultures we work with, ensuring equal access to opportunities and knowledge. We believe knowledge empowers people to act sustainably, and trust is essential for creating positive change, building lasting commitments to our partners and communities.
