Beyond Vallarta is a 100% locally owned travel company offering small-group cultural immersion retreats in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Rather than a resort experience built for tourists, we invite guests into our Mexico—the kitchens, mountain villages, hidden coves, and local markets that most visitors never see. Every retreat is hosted by three locals for just six guests, ensuring an intimate experience with a flexible itinerary. We take care of everything: airport transfers, accommodations, meals, transportation, and a personalized day-by-day plan. Guests immerse themselves in Spanish through activities like enjoying breakfast, exploring markets, hiking to waterfalls, visiting mountain towns, cooking traditional meals, and relaxing by the coast. Evenings include home-cooked dinners and engaging conversations. We also offer a Spanish immersion week for beginners and scouting trips for those considering a move to Mexico. Because we're locally owned, almost everything you spend stays in the community—with families, guides, drivers, and artisans who make the trip what it is.
