Spanish Immersion Week in Puerto Vallarta

by: Beyond Vallarta

Spanish all day, with structured lessons spread through it, and the hours in between spent using the language rather than studying it. Municipal markets in the morning, cooking with your hosts, mountain towns up in the Sierra Madre where nobody switches to English, waterfalls in the months they actually have water in them, and a morning out with a fisherman who fishes for a living. Three hosts who live in Puerto Vallarta are with the group all week. Six participants at most, ever, so nobody sits at the back. Every meal is eaten together, which is where most of the real practice happens. There is no bus and no fixed itinerary. The week is built around what the group wants and can be rebuilt mid-week if it is not working. This is immersion for people who want to leave able to hold a conversation, not people who want a certificate.

Program Highlights

Practice real conversations at the local market where the town actually shops.

Share a home-cooked dinner each night at a long table with your hosts.

Escape the tourist strip and hear Spanish as it's actually spoken in the neighborhoods.

Live Spanish all day long, not just during scheduled lessons.

Enjoy one seamless plan that covers lodging, meals, transport, and excursions together.
