Volunteer in Siem Reap - Teach English from USD 15/day
Program Overview
ASPIRE Training & Education is a non-profit, volunteer-run school and home for poor, homeless, and orphaned children in Siem Reap, Cambodia. Since 2012, it has provided free education, life skills, and a safe living environment through donations and volunteers. Volunteers teach English, art, music, and traditional Khmer dance. Contributions help cover essentials like food, clothing, and electricity. Everyone lives simply and works together as a community to build brighter futures.
WORKING ARRANGEMENT
Volunteers support daily education, health, and life skills. Two English classes run at 8AM and 2PM, Monday to Friday, for 2 hours each (with a break). Volunteers follow a curriculum and add their own creativity. Meals are cooked on-site by the host’s wife, who also shares local recipes! Weekends offer Tuk Tuk trips to Angkor Wat, the floating village, and more. Kids love sports and enjoy the on-site pool and karaoke nights.
LIVING ARRANGEMENT
Private or shared rooms with air-con and en suite bathrooms. All meals are freshly prepared and served on-site by the host’s wife, a talented cook.
