Is Bali, Indonesia, safe to study abroad?
Bali is a safe place to study abroad, offering an authentic foreign cultural experience alongside Western standard amenities. English is widely spoken. The island boasts a world-class medical infrastructure and affordable as well as easily accessible healthcare. Each student must have insurance. Moreover, our on-site team supports students where needed.

You will be one of over 1000 students joining one of Asia Exchange's programs across Asia each term! You can interact with our student ambassadors and become part of a strong alumni network from students all around the globe!
When will I receive the Official Acceptance Letter and ToR?
You receive the initial confirmation of your study placement 24 hours after your application. The official acceptance letter (hard copy) will be delivered to you around 1.5 months before the semester starts. We’ll send it to the street address you have provided in your application. Please let us know if this address changes at any point. The university prepares and sends the transcripts of records usually within 2-3 months after your graduation.
Do I need a visa to study at WISE?
A Visitor Visa (also called a Visa on Arrival) can be obtained for Rp 500,000 online or at the airport after arrival for 90+ nationalities (ASEAN countries do not need a visa). This visa has a 30-day expiration date and can be extended once for 30 days with the help of the university-appointed visa agent or online for around Rp 850,000.
What does the university schedule look like?
You’ll have lectures Monday to Wednesday and mandatory workshops or excursions on Thursday mornings. These group activities could include Balinese cooking classes, crafting traditional offerings, or visiting cultural sites. The exams take place on Thursdays, the 2nd and 4th week of the program.
