I got to connect with myself and see beautiful things
July 29, 2024by: Luna GonimaProgram: Arcos Learning Abroad in Santiago de Compostela, SpainThe Spanish professors were phenomenal and the placement test was perfect in finding the level I needed. I loved my host mom and miss her so much! I was dealing with the passing of a close family member before I left for this trip and I think this helped me not wallow in grief since I had to keep up and get up every morning. I got to see a lot of beautiful things and connect with myself on this trip. I greatly appreciate the opportunity to do that.
Personal growth and language learning

I was able to learn a language in a country that primarily speaks the language while also being able to grow on a personal level. What an amazing director! Remember to pack light.
Many experiences in only 4 weeks

Four weeks isn't a lot of time, but we packed in many experiences in the time that we had. As a faculty leader, I really enjoyed seeing the students in a different light, outside a classroom, appreciating their uniqueness and seeing how they dealt with new cultural experiences.
