Wildlife Rescue & Conservation Volunteering in Costa Rica

We are a non-profit organization with the mission to rescue, rehabilitate, and release as many animals as possible back into the wild. We are located in Portegolpe, Guanacaste, one of the most biologically rich regions in our country. We are also on a main route to many touristic destinations, such as Tamarindo, Playa Conchal, and Flamingo.

Every year, we receive many volunteers at our institution. Volunteers play a vital role in caring for the animals and maintaining the sanctuary.
We provide them with a unique life experience in Costa Rica, surrounded by wildlife and the Pura Vida lifestyle.

Volunteers help us by preparing animal diets, making enrichment, do some gardening and general maintenance of the sanctuary. Depending on the volunteer's experience and skills, they can also assist in other areas, such as reception or social media.
We have a volunteering program with lodging and food provided, as well as a one-day program for people who just want to offer a hand while passing in the area for a day.
We are a small and friendly team, which truly feels like a family.
