Spend a summer immersed in traditional Spanish culture in the historic city of Seville with AIFS Abroad! Seville fits the bill for the archetypal Spain of intimate flamenco venues, crowded tapas bars, and orange-tree-scented squares—the perfect backdrop for an exploration of contemporary and historic Spanish culture. This program is designed for students who wish to focus their studies on contemporary Spain and learn more about Seville’s rich artistic heritage. Spanish is not required as both courses are taught in English. You take one or two courses for up to 6 credits. You’ll live in either a homestay (where you will receive three meals a day) or in a student apartment (where you will receive a meal allowance to subsidize the cost of purchasing meals and groceries). Enjoy cultural and social activities such as: - Event—get to know your fellow AIFSers and the AIFS Abroad staff in Seville - Guided city tour including the Cathedral and Giralda Tower - Real Alcázar (Royal Palace) - Tapas Tour - Flamenco show - Visits and activities of historical and cultural interest
