Challenging, but fulfilling!
August 22, 2022by: Lars KühniProgram: Volunteer Abroad in Kenya with African ImpactMy experience in Kenya was awesome! It was no easy start, though, as I did come from another project in Zanzibar, where I had to leave lovely friends behind! But the whole experience was so nice that I could not be sadder to leave Kenya again. It has learned me a lot about myself and about the danger of deforestation! It was awesome, thank you very much!
Be careful
May 06, 2019by: John Dugewer - DenmarkProgram: Volunteer Abroad in Kenya with African ImpactEven if such a program can look attractive, the association really do not care about their customers: you. Once you are done with the program : do not expect much support from them ! I e-mailed them 7 times to receive a video of my work there.... impossible Be careful

Hello John,

We are very sorry to hear that you have not had a response from our project team in Kenya. Can we ask which email address you are sending your request to? We have a very successful alumni program that sends out monthly updates and news to all of our past volunteers, yet we cannot find your name on our list, nor our system in general. When did you volunteer with us?

We would be more than happy to contact the Kenyan team on your behalf, and would love for you to join our Alumni and Ambassador program so that African Impact is able to stay in touch with you. Please do visit https://www.africanimpact.com/ambassador-program/ to sign up.

Please do feel free to also contact our main office via info@africanimpact.com so that we are able to continue this conversation further.

Thank you,
The African Impact Team.
