In which countries does the AVA volunteering program operate?
Our program currently covers 18 countries across South and Southeast Asia, as well as Central Asia:
Southeast Asia: Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Timor Leste, Philippines
South Asia: Nepal, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka
Central Asia: Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia
You can choose your preferred destination when you apply. Each country offers different types of projects
What is the minimum program duration?
We recommend a minimum participation of 2 weeks. One week is generally too short to make a meaningful impact and settle into the local community.
What is the program fee, inclusions, & exclusions?
Fees range from $370 to $600 for a 2‑week placement (the exact cost depends on the country and project type).
