Italian Courses in the Medieval Town of Recanati

Studying in Recanati has been fun! Living in a small town was great because I could really get to know people and feel part of the village's life. Recanati is a beautiful hilltop town, near the beach and about 1 hour drive from the Appennines Mountains. The school organizes intensive courses (4 hours per day) so that helped me a lot to improve my language skills (not just grammar, but also my listening/speaking/writing skills). The package I bought included activities and many trips too (we went to Rome, Florence, Assisi, Bologna, Frasassi Caves, Urbino and other smaller towns in Le Marche). I can definitely reccommend this program!

I had incredible time in Recanati. Not only does the school have excellent professors and administrators that provide an excellent program to learn Italian, they also provide a first hand experience with the Italian culture by taking you to excursions around the country. In addition, you meet many other students from other countries and making last relationships. I was a complete beginner in the language, but by the end of the month I was able to get around with some simple phrases. Can’t wait to keep learn the language in CSULB and hopefully make a return to this beautiful medieval city!
