Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need prior arts experience?
No. The program welcomes individuals without previous arts education; a willingness to experiment and live in community is key.
Is the program offered outside Venice?
No. However there are several regional visits to other nearby UNESCO World Heritage sites.
How many people will be on my program?
You’ll be part of a small group of up to twelve participants, allowing for close collaboration and a more personal experience.
Where do participants come from?
All nationalities are welcome. We have hosted participants from Australia, Belgium, Ireland, the Netherlands, France, Italy, the U.S.A., and the U.K.
What is the primary language of instruction for the workshop?
The workshop is in English. A minimum level of English is required to participate. The program is designed for participants to acquire at least A2 Italian, which will inevitably include some Venetian dialect.
