What inspired you to work for RVF International?

I was inspired to join this organization because it aligns with my values and interests. I appreciate the positive impact it makes, and I was drawn to the supportive, team-oriented environment. Knowing that I could contribute my skills, especially in communication and helping others, and continue growing professionally while being part of something meaningful really motivated me to be here.

The Team

What advice would you tell your pre-travel self?

I would tell my pre-travel self to embrace uncertainty as part of the journey. It's easy to over-plan or hold onto expectations, but the most unforgettable moments happen when things don’t go according to plan. Finally, I’d say don’t be afraid to ask questions. Every person you meet abroad can teach you something!

What makes RVF International special?

Our amazing team! Our personalized approach, dedicated support team, and strong community make participants feel heard and supported. It’s about more than just travel, it’s about growth, impact, and lifelong memories. What distinguishes RVF International is our commitment to personalized support and meaningful cultural exchange. We go beyond simply facilitating teaching placements in Spain, we provide comprehensive guidance throughout the entire process. From pre-departure preparation to ongoing assistance abroad, our team ensures that participants feel supported and valued.

Why should someone choose RVF International over competitors?

Someone should choose RVF International over other organizations because of our deep commitment to individualized support, transparency, and community. The level of support we offer is excellent. We truly care about each person’s experience, not just getting them to Spain, but helping them thrive once they’re there. We’re a team that’s with you every step of the way, answering questions, offering support, and much more! Our process is simple, our communication is clear, and we do everything we can to make moving abroad feel exciting, not overwhelming.

What is your organization's mission, and how do you continue to work toward it?

RVF International's mission is to help people come to Spain to teach English and have the best experience ever. We believe that living abroad isn’t just an adventure, it’s a life-changing opportunity for personal growth, connection, and impact. We work toward this every day by offering personalized support, simplifying the process, and building a strong, supportive community for our participants. We are here to ensure that everyone feels confident and cared for throughout their journey.

What do you hope participants take away from your programs?

We hope participants walk away from our program with more than just a teaching/study experience. Living and studying/working in Spain offers the chance to grow personally and professionally. We also hope they come home with great stories, lifelong friendships, and a renewed appreciation for cultural exchange. Ultimately, it’s about helping people discover what they’re capable of and creating memories that stay with them forever.

Why is it important for people to travel abroad and experience new cultures?

Traveling abroad and experiencing new cultures is important because it pushes people to grow in ways that staying in their comfort zone never could. It builds empathy, and helps people see the world—and themselves—from a fresh perspective. When you live in a different country, you're not just visiting; you're learning how others live, communicate, and solve problems. That kind of experience fosters open-mindedness, adaptability, and a greater appreciation for diversity. In a globalized world, those are incredibly valuable qualities, personally, professionally, and socially.

Why do you think learning a new language is important?

Learning a new language opens so many doors, not just in terms of communication, but also understanding culture on a deeper level. It allows you to connect with people in a more authentic way and shows respect for their way of life. Plus, it challenges your brain to think differently, improving problem-solving and creativity. Language learning is a powerful tool that enriches your experience and helps bridge cultural gaps.

What does meaningful travel mean to you?

To me, meaningful travel is about more than just visiting new places, it’s about truly engaging with the culture, people, and everyday life. Meaningful travel creates opportunities for genuine connections, personal transformation, and a deeper understanding of the world. It’s about leaving a positive impact, both on yourself and the communities you visit, rather than just checking sights off a list.
