What inspired you to work for London College of Teachers?

Inspiration at work is always an added bonus. When we are inspired, everything we have to do simply clicks. We feel that our work has a purpose, and all of our skills are being used in the best way possible.

Things that keep me motivated are: meeting deadlines, targets, or goals; mentoring and coaching others; learning new things; coming up with creative ideas to improve something or make something new; analyzing complex data in order to draw clear and simple conclusions; and working well as part of a team.

What are some current projects you are working on?

I am working on phonics and grammar. This will help the teachers to be equipped to train their students to read and write in English, correctly, by blending the sounds to make words and distinguishing between the different sounds.

I am working on techniques for the spelling of tricky words that are not phonetically correct. I am also taking English grammar lessons to train teachers the techniques to teach parts of speech, interjections, past tense rules, simple present, verb tenses, action verbs, complex sentences, and more.

What is your favorite part of your job?

I love teaching and upgrading my skills in teaching. There are new approaches to teaching being used across the globe. Therefore, we teachers need to constantly upgrade ourselves.

I love to pass on the knowledge I acquire to aspiring teachers. Expressing your passion for teaching, or the subject you teach, can grab your students' attention and drive engagement. “Love what you teach, and they will love it too.”

What advice would you tell your pre-travel self?

Traveling is important in life because it will open you up to a new way of living and being. You will experience new connections with people and places and immerse in different cultures, which can help widen your perspective.

So much learning and personal growth can come from traveling. So, I would tell myself to travel safely and stay open to new findings.

Me

Why should someone choose your organization over competitors?

We offer higher quality, a lower price, a superior set of features, and completely unique offerings. The strongest benefits of our product/service are the high quality and easy e-learning portal than others.

Our programs are accredited with trained tutors to offer additional support. In addition to live classes, we also offer webinars about new approaches taught by experts and doubt-cleaning sessions.

What is your organization's mission and how do you continue to work toward it?

Our organization's mission is to provide quality teacher training with international standards. I am a part of consistently checking the quality of our programs and products. We evaluate the courses at regular intervals.

Also, we plan strategically to work more efficiently through incorporating the mission, vision, and values as per our company culture.

What do you hope participants take away from your programs?

Participants learn new strategies and approaches toward teaching the upcoming generation to master 21st-century skills.

During this pandemic, our focus was on training aspiring teachers towards virtual teaching. This helped the student-teachers to get acquainted with the online portal as an educator.

The 21st-century skillset is generally understood to encompass a range of competencies including critical thinking, problem solving, creativity, meta-cognition, communication, digital and technological literacy, civic responsibility, and global awareness.

Why is it important for people to travel abroad and experience new cultures?

Traveling to new cultures is a great way to expand your social circle and meet people that you never would have gotten to know otherwise. You may be exposed to people from different walks of life, find a kindred spirit, or both at the same time.

Travel provides a learning experience like no other. It inspires people to seek out new places, keeping their pool of knowledge constantly topped up. It's a great way to not only learn new things and immerse yourself in a new culture, but it also provides a constant urge to continue learning.

What does meaningful travel mean to you?

Meaningful travel experiences allow travelers to visit destinations with the knowledge that in doing so, they are supporting local people and businesses in honest work, they are deeply immersing themselves in other cultures, and they are experiencing a destination meaningfully.

Travel allows us to share experiences with people and places different from our norm. Meaningful travel makes us better citizens of the world and keeps us desiring more.
