What inspired you to work for Heaven Himalaya?
I consider myself a very passionate tech enthusiast and adventurer. I love exploring and hiking up mountains, hills, and trees. Thus, who would say no to work which combines all, i.e. information technology, mountains and trees.
Working at Heaven Himalaya gives the thrill of adventure and exploration. Another reason is my passion for travel and culture, and the desire to make a positive impact while experiencing personal growth.
Describe a typical day at work.
My day starts with a coffee after I wake up at 6 AM. Then I head to the gym, shower and head to the office. I have my lunch at 11 AM in the office kitchen and continue working until 4 PM. After 4 PM, I spend time on social media updating myself on the latest trends and breaking news.
After 6 PM, I come back to my room, have some light snacks, and then spend time watching TV for about an hour. Before going to bed, I have the habit of reading something about business or travel. I constantly update myself with the latest trends and business tactics to stay relevant in the business.

What is your favorite part of your job?
My favorite aspect of working at Heaven Himalaya is seeing our clients change as they go across the Himalayas. It is so rewarding to watch their faces light up with astonishment and wonder, to see how they develop personally and feel a sense of success. I love being a part of their life-changing experiences.
It's an honor to contribute to the making of enduring memories. Also, I enjoy contributing to the development of a close bond with the magnificent mountains and the amazing individuals that travel with us.
What challenges do you often face and how do you overcome them?
While working for Heaven Himalaya, I frequently deal with difficulties including unpredictable weather, logistical limitations, cultural differences, and safety concerns. To overcome these challenges, we carefully plan, develop neighborhood alliances, impart thorough training, and give proactive risk management first priority in order to provide our clients with excellent experiences.

What are some current projects you are working on?
I am currently engaged in several projects aimed at enriching our services. This includes developing new trekking routes, improving safety measures, expanding community initiatives, and embracing technology.
We strive to provide exceptional experiences for our clients in the Himalayas through innovation and responsible practices. The new project I am working on is developing the trail for Ruby Valley in Dhading, Nepal.
What advice would you tell your pre-travel self?
My only advice I would give to my younger self is to not care about what other people think. Also, do what you are fond of, develop the habit of reading books, take risks, embrace failures, cherish the relationship, and try to educate yourself more and more. Lastly, be present and live in the moment while also taking good care of your health.
The other piece of advice I want to give to my younger self would be to travel everywhere when you have time. Trek to the Manaslu Circuit as a teenager with a bunch of friends, do crazy stuff, cook your meals, sleep in tents, and walk for miles each day.

What do you hope participants take away from your programs?
At Heaven Himalaya, we want people who participate in our programs to have life-changing, rewarding experiences that stick with them. We want to foster a genuine appreciation for the Himalayas' aesthetic splendor and cultural variety.
As participants conquer obstacles and establish connections with the mountains, we hope that participants will feel a sense of personal progress and accomplishment. We make an effort to foster a feeling of environmental responsibility and a dedication to ethical travel habits.

Why is it important for people to travel abroad and experience new cultures?
It is vital to travel and experience different cultures because it broadens viewpoints, encourages cultural exchange, improves personal development, offers special learning opportunities, develops cultural competency, helps preserve cultural heritage, and increases environmental consciousness. Individuals can deepen their appreciation of diversity, foster tolerance and empathy, and acquire priceless insights into other cultures by venturing outside of their comfort zones. This global viewpoint is essential for creating a more inclusive and linked world.
What does meaningful travel mean to you?
I believe that meaningful travel involves more than just seeing new locations. It entails getting lost in the locale, interacting with the locals, and leaving a lasting impression.
Genuine and respectful interactions with people, cultures, and environments are at the heart of meaningful travel. It involves looking for genuine encounters, being aware of the environmental and social issues the place is facing, and actively supporting its well-being.
Meaningful travel promotes development on a personal level, cross-cultural interaction, and a greater understanding of the world we live in. It leaves a deep imprint, fosters priceless memories, and awakens a sense of obligation to the areas we travel to.
