What inspired you to work for Glorious Himalaya Trekking?
Adventure is my passion and I have admired the beautiful mountains since my childhood. I was born and raised in the mountain region of Nepal and it inspired me to work in a trekking company because of my background.
What is your favorite part of your job?
The favorite part of my job is to meet with people from different parts of the world and share our experiences. Furthermore, we also share our cultures and traditions with the people who come from other countries.
How do you use your education and international background in your current role?
Education is the main factor of our life and it has always been better if we implement it in our business or in our practical life. I have graduated in tourism which is related to my business.

What are some current projects you are working on?
Apart from trekking, I'm currently working on peak climbing projects. Island peak climbing, Mera peak climbing, Cholatse peak climbing are the current projects that I'm working on.
What makes Glorious Himalaya Trekking special?
We are a team of professional local guides who were born and raised in the mountain region of Nepal. Our main concern is your safety and satisfaction. All of our organization guides are certified by Nepal's government and well equipped who know well about the trekking routes and the cultures.
Are there any developments with Glorious Himalaya Trekking that you would like to share with us?
Yes, since our establishment we have taken hundreds of hundreds adventure travelers to their dream places of Nepal. And every year, our customer has been increasing which is the development part of our organization. In 2011 (our estd year), we had only about 150 customers but then after we have above 500 customers every year.
What is Glorious Himalaya Trekking’s mission and how do you continue to work toward it?
Our mission is to explore the mountains of Nepal and take the travelers there who dare to make their dreams come true. In the coming days, we will focus on quality service so that our clients can get full enjoyment during their Nepal visit with us. We never get tired of exploring the white mountains and the countryside. Therefore, we are devoted to our work every year.

If you could participate on one of your organization's programs, where would you go and what would you do?
I would like to go farwest of Nepal. Farwest Nepal is one of the least developed and isolated region of Nepal. The Literacy percentage of this region is less than the other regions of Nepal due to political instability. Still people of this region are deprived from basic education, health, and drinking water. Hence, we would like to support one of the schools if we get a chance to interact with local people of this region.
Why is it important for people to travel abroad and experience new cultures?
Travel is a part of education where we can learn about different parts of the world and experience their new culture closely. There is a saying, “The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page.”
Why do you think learning a new language is important?
Every part of the world has their own dialogues and languages. And if you want to explore the world it is always better to have a new language so that you can get more and better information about their cultures, livelihood and geology. If you have a new language you can easily interact with the native peoples where you are traveling.
What does meaningful travel mean to you?
Meaningful travel means not only exploring the places you have been, it is also learning something new and spreading positive vibes in our community. We can also exchange our experiences with each other during our travels. This is meaningful travel as well.
