Support local kindergartens and early-childhood centres in Tigman Village and surrounding areas. You will help care for children aged 3 to 6 by assisting teachers with daily routines including meal times, light hygiene tasks, cleaning, and creating a warm, safe environment for young learners. You will also lead fun and educational activities such as songs, games, art, storytelling, drawing, crafts, and playtime that encourage social interaction, creativity, confidence, and a love for learning. This program is ideal for volunteers aged 16 or older who enjoy working with young children and want to contribute meaningfully to early childhood development. No formal teaching credentials are required because local teachers provide support and guidance. What matters most is patience, kindness, enthusiasm, creativity, cultural sensitivity, and an open heart for building trust with children. During your free time you can explore the natural beauty of Palawan, enjoy beaches, local markets, forest and island landscapes, practise English and experience Filipino culture firsthand. You will leave knowing you helped provide children with a safe, caring and stimulating early learning environment.
