Travel for Teens - Backpacking for Teens II
Description
Travel by rail through the best of Europe this summer - You'll stand in awe before Michelangelo’s David, swim in the sparkling Mediterranean, hike through idyllic alpine pastures, and gaze at Paris from the towering heights of the Eiffel Tower.
Your adventure starts in Florence, the elegant cultural capital of Italy and birthplace of the Italian Renaissance. From our hotel in the centre of town, we'll dodge buzzing Vespas and snazzily dressed Florentines to take in world class museums, browse the famous outdoor markets, and go dancing in Florence’s hottest disco.
Next stop is a tiny village in the Cinque Terre, an area renowned for its dramatic scenery, hiking trails, fresh seafood, and friendly villagers. Hike the famous trails along the coast and absorb the stunning views of rugged mountains plunging straight into the turquoise sea.
Interlaken, nestled in the heart of the Swiss Alps, has long been a backpacker's paradise of quaint mountain villages and active outdoor sports. Learn about the unique alpine culture here, hike in the crisp mountain air, and enjoy a magical sunset cruise on Lake Thun.
From our Swiss paradise we'll take the TGV, fastest train in Europe, up to Paris to finish up this trip right! You'll take an evening cruise on the Seine, visit the Eiffel Tower, see Da Vinci's Mona Lisa in the Louvre, and enjoy the best of Parisian cooking and culture.
