Summer 2013 at Charles University in Prague

Czech Republic: Prague

The Czech Summer School (Prague) has a 24-year tradition. Around 70 people from around the world who are interested in studying Czech, regularly participate in the course. Our Summer School is designed for the general public, however every year several students studying Czech at foreign universities and a number of professional translators are among the participants. The course does not assume any previous knowledge of Czech, although we always offer classes at various different levels (from total beginner up to highly advanced).

The Czech Summer School (Prague) is an intensive course focusing on language and communication. We strike a balance between spoken and written communication, as well as between reading and listening skills, without overlooking grammar. The course is constructed according to long-term experience in language teaching and is based on modern language teaching methods. It corresponds to the Common European Framework for Languages.
