by: Young Surgeons Travel

This program is intended for medical students who have already enrolled or been admitted to medical schools and colleges in their country. Gain exposure to various specialties, including surgery, pediatrics, internal medicine, and emergency care, during diverse medical rotations.

Participate in public health initiatives, rural medical camps, and patient education programs.

Learn from experienced doctors and medical staff to enhance your medical knowledge and skills.

Experience Kenyan culture, explore safaris, visit local villages, and enjoy weekend excursions.

A wonderful journey!

I had an amazing week in Rodi Koani, Homa Bay County, Kenya! We had great accommodation at the Belmont Hotel. Everyone was so friendly and helpful all the time, and we felt really welcomed and at home there! Additionally, the weekend trip to Ruma National Park was a highlight—we saw so many incredible animals, and it was so well organized. Afterwards, the trip to Lake Victoria was also amazing! Just wow! I am so grateful for this experience

The amazing week in Homa Bay & Safari in Ruma National Park

I have done a university project in Homa Bay County. With a great chance, we could stay at the wonderful Belmont Hotel one week. The rooms were spacious and so nice. Food was delicious. The green surrounding very beautiful and the stuff so friendly. I really enjoyed as one of the best weeks in my life. Mister Joshua Omyango Omolo was amazing, he was so kind and funny always. The best thing is that during our free day he took us to the Ruma National Park. We could see the wild animals of the African savanna like giraffes, zebras, rhinos, buffaloes, antelopes…. And after that he even took us to enjoy the late afternoon in a beautiful lodge near the Victoria lake. In the evening we had a fire with drinks, chanting and dancing near the fire at the hotel. It was a day that will always rest in my heart
