Learn Mandarin in China - Private Courses with XMandarin

My experience abroad is fine it's just the class I'd like to give a review regarding the curriculum, I was told it would be a more oral chinese based class and really it's just another HSK textbook read through which doesn't help for life in china unfortunately, also it's only once a week I'm not sure if its the same for all private classes but really that's not enough to learn and retain information, just for the price of it I kind of expected more

I have been working at a Chinese logistics company in Qingdao for the past few months, and I started private business Chinese classes at XMandarin to improve my communication at work. I’ve been taking private classes at XMandarin whole working in Qingdao, and honestly, it’s been a great experience. I came in with some basic Mandarin skills, but I really wanted to get more confident speaking and understanding everyday Chinese and the private classes helped me do exactly that. Sometimes we’d focus on grammar or vocabulary from the textbook, but other times we’d just chat about life in China or cultural stuff, which made it way more interesting and relevant. X Mandarin Thanks to this school I could come to Qingdao and learn Chinese. I am too old (62 years) to attend a course at the university, but here there are no limits of age and I am doing a 3 months course, integrating lessons in a little group and private lessons. The atmosphere in the school is really familiar, I normally arrive before the lessons start and I can stay in the lounge drinking coffee, finishing homework or reviewing the lesson. I am helped in my request for help (finding something in the city, problem with a Chinese telephone card...), and I have a lot of fun in the class with my small group and also with my private teacher. I'm also attending the cultural events of the school, a good occasion to learn more about China and to know other students from other classes!!

I came to China with another program before but nothing compared to my experience with xmandarin the course is great, everyone is really compromised to make the best experience ever. The teachers is one of the best I’ve ever had, and every problem I had was promptly solved by the administrators. Could not had asked for a better school!

My teacher was very understanding and professional. Who also made our classes interesting and engaging. We did translations where we discussed the nuances of the different words which gave me better grasp of the language and helped me improve very quickly.
