Teaching and Childcare in Zanzibar

We arrange volunteering and internship placements in teaching and childcare at various schools and kindergartens in Zanzibar. The Heroes Community Academy, a private school by an NGO, offers higher education standards than government schools. The school serves 180 students aged 2-15. There are also 12 children with intellectual disabilities who can be engaged in informal learning. Volunteers assist with teaching, activities, and NGO initiatives like farming, workshops, and job placement. Run by the Anglican Church in Zanzibar’s historic district, the St. Monica Kindergarten & Primary School includes a kindergarten and primary/secondary levels.
