I had an excellent time in Peru. The instructors were great and they pushed you to have a better experience. We went to the Peruvian Amazon (Puerto Moldanado area) saw Brazil there, Machu Picchu, recently contacted communities and more. To anyone who is applying, I would highly recommend preparing for the 6-7 day trek. It was a big mistake when I did not prepare. Also, I would tell everyone that it is WINTER in Peru during summer. Go if you always want to look back on the summer you went as a memorable summer!

Dragons is incredible. The instructors created a powerful space for us to connect as a group, immerse ourselves in the Andean culture and explore Peru-- while jammed into local buses, huddled together in dugout canoes, trekking behind burros up the slopes of the Cordillera Blancas and stretched out at sunrise above the ancient ruins of Machu Picchu. If you have the opportunity, GO.
