Program Overview

Experience South Korea beyond tourism through hands-on local projects with WEYEAR Social Cooperative.

WEYEAR connects international participants with local communities across South Korea, including Seoul, Jeju, Busan, Gwangju, Gangjin, Bonghwa, Gurye, Mokpo, Gokseong, Jecheon and more.

Choose from projects in community development, environment, agriculture, education, animal welfare, arts and crafts, sports, culture, and tourism. Depending on your chosen project, you may volunteer, learn practical skills, create local content, work with local residents, or develop your own project.

Rather than simply traveling, live and engage with local communities while experiencing everyday Korean life.

Program activities, duration, accommodation, requirements, and inclusions vary by project. Participants can choose a project based on their interests and schedule.
