14 Day Luxury Galapagos & Amazon Expedition in Ecuador
Program Overview
Experience two of Ecuador’s most extraordinary ecosystems on this 14-day luxury adventure combining the Galapagos Islands and the Amazon rainforest. Begin with an expedition aboard the Hermes Mega Catamaran, exploring iconic Galapagos destinations such as Santa Cruz, Rabida, Bartolome, Española, Floreana, and San Cristobal. Guided hikes, snorkeling, kayaking, and wildlife encounters offer opportunities to observe giant tortoises, sea lions, marine and land iguanas, seabirds, and other endemic species while discovering the archipelago’s volcanic landscapes. The journey then continues into the Ecuadorian Amazon for a stay at Napo Wildlife Center. Explore the rainforest by canoe and on foot, visit parrot clay licks, learn about Kichwa culture, observe the forest from a canopy tower, and search for monkeys, tropical birds, and other Amazon wildlife with expert local and naturalist guides. Combining luxury accommodations, guided exploration, wildlife, culture, and active experiences, this itinerary offers an immersive introduction to two of Ecuador’s most biodiverse regions.

FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
Get answers to all the most common questions about Voyagers Travel Company.
Do I need a visa to visit Ecuador?
Visa requirements depend on your nationality. It is best to confirm with the Ecuadorian embassy or consulate in your country well in advance of your travel date.
What currency does Ecuador use?
Ecuadorians use the US dollar (USD) as their official currency.
Will there be any medical services on the tour?
Hermes Superyacht have first aid abilities, and at the Napo Wildlife Center there are trained personnel on board for emergencies. In more urgent medical situations, evacuations will be set up to facilities on the mainland. We would suggest looking at a fully comprehensive travel insurance that covers medical emergencies and evacuation.
What is the luggage limit on domestic flights?
For domestic flights, especially to Galapagos and the Amazon are often very strict on luggage limits (e.g. 20-23 kg or 44-50 lbs in checked bags, even more strict in carry-on). It is advisable to double check with your tour operator or airline to confirm allowances to avoid excess baggage fees.
Is there Wi-Fi available during the tour?
Hermes Superyacht will have limited Wi-Fi, but at the Napo Wildlife Center, may have very rudimentary, almost non-existent Wi-Fi service, as it is a remote area. Expect to have limited or no connectivity in many places, part of the disconnection and connection to your nature.
