Guatemala: Learn Spanish & Cultural Immersion Tour

Inquire Here

Program Overview

More than a language program, this two-week tour offers full immersion in Spanish while experiencing Guatemala’s rich culture and community. You’ll stay with a local family, enjoying home-cooked meals, while completing 18 hours of personalised one-to-one Spanish lessons, tailored to your level and pace.

This immersive program alternates between Spanish classes and hands-on activities with local NGOs and community projects, giving you a chance to put your Spanish into practice in real-life situations. You may help build stoves, visit coffee farms run by ex-guerrilla fighters and discuss Guatemala’s civil war, support children’s rights organizations, or join chocolate and cooking classes. Each activity reinforces lessons, improves vocabulary, and builds your confidence when speaking with local people. Bilingual guides are available if needed, but you are encouraged to communicate in Spanish whenever possible.

Suitable for learners at all levels, the tour combines language learning with cultural exploration and social impact. Engage with community-led initiatives, build friendships, gain insight into Guatemalan traditions, and experience the power of local social change firsthand.
