Become a Digital Marketing & Media Intern in the Philippines
Program Overview
As a grassroots nonprofit organization, Volunteer for the Visayans understands the need for a comprehensive and precise media strategy to best portray and explain its various donation-based projects to global audiences. Unfortunately, it is unable to hire additional staff to cover this role and, as a result, we are looking to international volunteers for support in this operation.
As media interns, participants can visit and document every project it organizes and assist staff in developing promotional videos to raise awareness about socioeconomic struggles and promote donation-based causes and appeals. Material collected and edited by volunteers will need to adhere to local social welfare guidelines and will be featured on the Volunteer for the Visayans YouTube channel and Facebook page.
This project is multifaceted and requires volunteers to be independent and self-motivated. Particular focus areas will include the Volunteer for the Visayans Dumpsite Project, Child Sponsorship Program, Build-A-Home Project, and Community Feeding Project. In most cases, media interns need to supply their equipment as the current equipment at the project site is extremely basic.
