The minimum stay is 1 month, and most volunteers choose 1–3 months. Start dates are flexible throughout the year.

What costs should I expect?

Volunteers receive a private room in a shared house. Living expenses such as rent, food, and local transport are shared among volunteers, averaging around €300 per month. Flights and visas are not included, and VfAW does not charge participation fees.

Is teaching experience required?

Teaching experience is helpful but not required. Volunteers should have strong communication skills and be comfortable engaging with students and community groups.
