Whether you're a student, creative, aspiring filmmaker, or conservation enthusiast, if you care about protecting biodiversity and want to develop visual storytelling skills, this is for you.
Do I need filmmaking experience to join?
No experience is necessary! We welcome beginners and provide full training in wildlife storytelling, camera use, and editing. Our mentors will guide you through the entire process — from idea development to your final short film.
Where does the program take place?
The program is based in Da Nang, Vietnam, with field trips to Son Tra Peninsula, a vital wildlife sanctuary home to rare species like the Red-shanked Douc Langur. Workshops and editing sessions take place at VEN Place, our creative hub in Da Nang.
What is included in the program fee?
The $500 USD program fee covers:
✔ 13 nights accommodation at VEN Place
✔ All meals during the program
✔ Transport for filming and field activities
✔ Camera equipment (DSLR & Action 5)
✔ Workshops, mentoring, and editing facilities
✔ Screening of your final film and publication on VEN platforms

What will I create by the end of the program?
You will produce a 5-7 minute wildlife short documentary or a photo-based story, with full creative guidance. Your film will be screened at VEN Place and published on VEN’s official platforms, with full credit as the creator.
