Master of Science (Investments and Wealth Management)

This online master's program develops a cadre of tax planners and wealth managers internationally. It was originally designed as a strategic response to the demands of the international business sector for a pool of qualified tax planners and wealth managers. Today, it integrates international perspectives within the specifics of the Caribbean context. It engages participants in intensive and participative class seminars and projects that require both conceptual and practical thinking. The curriculum taught in this program is compatible internationally, no matter where the student is located around the world.

Students learn how to identify investment trends and opportunities in local and international markets as well as how to apply techniques on sound financial analysis and risk and investment management. They discover the power of Bloomberg, a facility for accessing the stock market and investment data in real-time, as well as use an analytics and trading tool to develop practical investment experience. Some of the research conducted occurs in several fields including accounting, finance, and investments with an emphasis on ethics, taxation, and accounting information systems.
