Master of Science (Accounting & Finance with ACCA)

The MSc in Accounting and Finance (ACCA Embedded) was designed in collaboration with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). Students enrolled in this program take their strategic professional-level (ACCA) and university examinations together. It offers the opportunity to collaborate with peers who have real-world and academic experience in Management, Marketing, Finance, or Economics. We're proud to say that the MSc in Accounting and Finance (ACCA Embedded) isn't offered at any of the other UWI campuses and is the only one of its kind offered in Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean! This program is offered on a selective and discretionary basis to non-bachelor degree holders. However, they are required to take a preliminary year of study and complete all ACCA foundation courses. Additionally, they must have technical certificates or diplomas assessed by the University of the West Indies. They should also possess 5 years of experience in an accounting or business-related field. An interview and two letters of recommendation are required as well. Applicants also gain the chance to study at a highly ranked and accredited university in the Caribbean.
