Study Abroad at the University of Sussex

My time as a University of Sussex student was a life changing opportunity. I got to grow and connect with people who I was able to explore with. I constantly reminisce on my time there and all that I got to do and for that I am grateful!

Studying at the University of Sussex as a Spanish exchange student has been one of the best experiences of my life. I felt welcomed from the very beginning, and the lecturers were always supportive and approachable. The campus is beautiful, the facilities are excellent, and Brighton is an amazing city full of culture and opportunities. I also met incredible people from all over the world, which helped me grow both personally and academically. This exchange has improved my English, broadened my perspective, and given me unforgettable memories. I would highly recommend the University of Sussex to any international student looking for a high-quality education and a truly enriching experience.

I did a year abroad from Australia at Sussex and it was genuinely an amazing year. Sussex is so progressive and community based, that there’s no ‘upper echelon’ groups or unapproachable people. Everyone at the uni is easy to talk to and friendly. Making friends was so easy. I joined the Salsa society; one out of literally a million choices of societies. Also, I’d argue that Sussex is as good as it is because you get to be abroad in Brighton. There’s no other city like it, so full of love and quirk. There’s ALWAYS something going on too, be it live music or festivals or arts or community activities. So bloody good and I’d go again in a heartbeat. Everybody really is in the same boat in Brighton and at Sussex, you’ll never feel judged.

My four months in Brighton were amazing! The university had organised a great reception for all visiting students, which made it easy to get to know people from all over the world. While living on campus, I also made close friends with the people I lived with. I was mostly happy with all my selected modules, and found the teachers to be friendly and dedicated! Brighton itself is the perfect size for a semester abroad and full of lovely cafés, restaurants, pubs, and clubs. I definitely recommend Sussex for your exchange!

Choosing to study at the University of Sussex was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that has completely changed how I see the world. Within the first week there, I found myself surrounded by such an incredible group of people, making friends from Australia, the United States, Mexico, Malaysia, and England. Each of whom generously shared their cultures, perspectives, and ways of life with me. Some of my fondest memories were simple ones, such as evenings spent laughing at Falmer Bar, surrounded by good company, good food, and an atmosphere that always felt like home. Sussex's location made it the perfect place to explore new destinations. Not only was it close to countries across Europe I'd dreamed of visiting, but it also placed me within easy reach of some of England's most charming destinations including London, Lewes, Cambridge, and Bath among my favourites. Between coursework, I found myself constantly learning both academically, and experientially, gaining a broader appreciation for the world and my place in it. Brighton, just a short bus ride from campus, became my favorite escape when I needed a break. I spent countless afternoons discovering new coffee shops and catching up on coursework, or wandering along the waterfront. By May, Brighton was in full swing, its pier buzzing with visitors enjoying games, rides, and seaside food. As someone living with Celiac Disease, I was especially grateful for how seamlessly I could navigate both grocery stores and restaurants with an abundance of gluten-free options that made me feel safe, cared for, and included throughout my time there. Academically, Sussex exceeded my expectations. My favorite course was Positive Psychology with Rona Hart, where small class sizes allowed real connections to form and made participation feel natural rather than intimidating. We didn't just study psychological theory, we got to practice them by participating in techniques like goal setting, stress management, and resilience building in ways that I've carried with me well beyond the classroom. Overall, my semester at Sussex gave me more than education, it also gave me the most memorable experiences that I’ll cherish forever.

I had an amazing time during my study abroad at Sussex. Brighton was such a lovely town, with a lot of kind and interesting people. There is so much to do and so many cool experiences to have. I highly recommend coming to Sussex!

I had a great time at Sussex. I lived in Brighthelm and was able to be around my friends all the time. We would have little dinner parties and watch movies and it was so nice because everyone lived so close to eachother! Sussex also offered tons of activities for students I particularly loved trivia nights, and all the clubs were so open and welcoming which made meeting people easy!

As part of my studies, I spent a semester at the University of Sussex and I had a truly wonderful experience there. There were many differences compared to my home university. What I enjoyed most was the campus life. There were countless activities and events that made it easy to meet new people and try new things, which helped students connect with one another. I also really appreciated the support I received before and throughout my stay. Whenever I had questions or encountered any problems, there was always someone available to help. The lecturers were very welcoming, supportive, and genuinely cared about their students. In addition, the university’s location gave me the opportunity to explore Brighton and visit other English cities, such as London. Overall, I really enjoyed my semester at the University of Sussex and it was an enriching experience both academically and personally.

I absolutely loved my time at Sussex Uni and in Brighton. It's such a special place that you can't find anywhere else and a place that stays with your for a long time. It's hard to pinpoint exactly why as it is in the air, in the style and in the feelings you feel. The people were so cool and amazing, the town so fantastic and the university and campus such a cozy and familiar place that I felt like I belonged and had been there longer than one semester. I miss it a lot and look back on it with nostalgia and love. Definitely recommend going on an exchange there.

•Academic studies Those required critical thinking, plenty of readings, and active attitudes, which were not always necessary in my home uni. Therefore it was very hard for me to catch up and ‘participate’ the classes. However I could take various modules I had interest at that time, which broadened my horizons. •Nice living environment Even though I lived in the second oldest dormitory , I was quite satisfied with the environment. The flat was always cool and clean, and the best point was that I could see several bunnies in the courtyard. There are some bus stops, cafes, a small supermarket, and so on. Those were really convenient to live on campus. •Kind staff members They always care about us, send some emails, quickly respond to our messages. When I needed a support (for travel documents, hobs in the kitchen…), they kindly helped me.

My exchange semester at the University of Sussex was an exercise in high-level adaptation. Academically, the environment does not hold your hand. Coming from a Mechatronics and Cyber-Physical Systems background, the modules immediately tested my technical baseline. Developing machine learning and deep learning models—specifically utilizing PyTorch and NLTK for text preprocessing and document classification—demanded relentless problem-solving. Similarly, benchmarking optimization paradigms for light-seeking robotics required a level of precision that leaves zero room for error. The assessment standards here are uncompromising; you learn very quickly that strict adherence to coursework guidelines and academic criteria is mandatory for survival. However, the intensity of the Jupyter notebooks and robotics labs was offset by the lifestyle Sussex enables if you are disciplined enough to structure it. Living in the Falmer area meant I had to optimize my time, anchoring my weeks with strict meal prep, Monday sessions with the university running society, and weekly swimming. That routine is what made the academic load manageable. Furthermore, the location is a massive strategic advantage. The accessibility of the rail network allowed me to easily disconnect, whether that meant taking a quick group trip to Hastings or executing rapid, highly structured day trips to London to study engineering history at the Science Museum and British Library. Sussex is not a passive experience. It is an environment built for students who are ready to be challenged by uncompromising academic rigor while actively engineering their own community and routine on the outside.

Whilst studying abroad as a business and marketing student I thoroughly enjoyed living on campus at Sussex where i was able to meet and experience so many great experiences and people. Whilst abroad I joined the Lacrosse team which brought a real sense of community and bonding with people world wide including a lot of british and canadians who would organise social events atleast once a week.

My year abroad at Sussex was amazing, I liked Brighton more than I expected and made some (hopefully lifelong) great friends. I absolutely loved the amount of societies you could join and living at Stanmer Court was useful for going into Brighton, or to beautiful Lewes. I assumed that a lot would happen in the northern part or campus, but more things happened by the southern part so it worked out well for me. The big exception being mostly free food around holidays and the international student events or whatever which would be at the Student Centre. The education level felt like about the same as my home university Lund University. I guess less options because they're all full several year courses or programmes and my home university has year long, semester long or shorter as well.

I had an excellent time at Sussex University! Coming from Australia I had the opportunity to meet people from all over the world and the ability to explore the United Kingdom with ease. By doing an exchange at Sussex I was able to take classes I normally couldn’t do at my home university, and meet new and awesome professors that significantly helped me develop ideas for my future career.

I studied abroad at the University of Sussex for the spring term 2026, and I had an amazing time. The highlights of my experience include the proximity to Brighton and London-always plenty of things to see/do, connecting with other study abroad students at the university, and the train station that connects to Gatwick airport. The courses are interesting, but the coursework is not too heavy. Housing is convenient to bus stops and classes. The university is right on the edge of the South Downs, a beautiful place for a walk or stroll. I would recommend Sussex highly!

Insane experience and could not recommend more. You make a bunch of international friends, experience education in another country, and can hop on a train to get to another country. I found the modules at Sussex engaging and relevant to my future job. The course load was manageable (much less work than my home uni) and allowed for constant travelling (uni is fairly close to gatwick airport). Sussex is a very international student friendly place, in all of my classes there was a bunch of exchange students. All of the clubs and sports teams had activites and pubcrawls, which really gets you involved in the pubbing culture.

The University of Sussex gave me the opportunity to make great friends through an abroad meet-and-greet at the beginning. Through the class set up it was easy to travel and still make good grades. I felt like it was very lax and allowed me to immerse myself in exploring. The housing setup was a bit rough for me since my roomates were disgusting and made shared spaces difficult to go into. Brighton is a quick train ride away and a great city.

I really liked my experience at Sussex university. I met a lot of new friends from different parts of the world, and gained a lot of new perspectives on different aspects of life, both in class and on my spare time. The university hosted different welcoming events for us exchange students, and had a lot of different societies to join in the free time, which was so much fun!

Coming to Sussex was not only academically enriching, but it also gave me the opportunity to meet students from all over the world as well as local British students. The University of Sussex and the city of Brighton offer so many exciting activities and things to do, making it easy to get involved and make the most of your time here! I would highly recommend joining a society. Whether it's the Walking Society, where you can explore the beautiful South Downs and enjoy the stunning natural surroundings, or Pilates to unwind and stay active, there is something for everyone. In addition, I really enjoyed the content of my modules. The lecturers were fantastic, and the seminars were engaging! Overall, my time at Sussex has been an incredibly rewarding academic and personal experience!

I think Uni of Sussex is one of the best Uni for exchange student in the world. Not only it located at a wonderful city but also the students, teachers and staffs are very friendly to international students

My exchange at University of Sussex has been one of the best experiences of my life! Not only did I grow as a person, but I also made memories and friendships that will last a lifetime. I wouldn’t trade my exchange experience for anything in the world. I also had the opportunity to take creative courses that aren’t offered at my home university, and they were incredibly enjoyable. They made me realize that the creative field is where I truly want to build my career. Brighton is an amazing city as well, it’s the perfect size, and the people are so friendly. I felt at home from the very beginning. Another huge plus was how well the university looked after us exchange students. There were so many fun activities at the start of the semester, which made it easy to meet people and make friends. I will always be grateful for my exchange experience at University of Sussex!

I had a great experience studying abroad at the University of Sussex. The campus is beautiful, surrounded by green space, and located just outside Brighton, which is an amazing city with plenty of restaurants, nightlife, and things to do. The academics were engaging, and the professors were approachable and supportive. I also appreciated how easy it was to meet students from around the world through orientation events and student societies, making the experience both academically and personally rewarding. The university offers good support for international students, and the location provides easy access to London and the rest of Europe for weekend trips. One area that could be improved is the number of organized programs and events specifically for study abroad and exchange students throughout the semester. While there are great activities during Welcome Week, having more excursions, social events, and opportunities to connect with local students and other international students would make the experience even better. Overall, I would highly recommend the University of Sussex to anyone considering studying abroad. It is a fantastic place to learn, meet people from around the world, and experience life in the UK.

During my last semester at Uni, I had the chance to do an exchange at the university of Sussex. At first, I was scared I wouldn't manage to make friends but I was proved wrong very quickly. The uni organises a lot of events for international students to meet eachother and more generally there is always something to do on campus! Moreover, the classes I got to choose as a film student were really interesting and the staff was always there to answer my questions as well as the professors. And finally, the broad selection of societies is great to explore new hobbies so I would really recommend going to Sussex if you want to live this unique experience too!!

Living independently, cooking for myself, and studying in an international environment helped me grow both personally and academically. I highly recommend Sussex to anyone looking for a supportive, diverse, and unforgettable exchange experience.

I had an amazing time at Sussex Uni! The city is amazing, I loved the other students (including exchange students). However, I must say that it has to be very self-driven. The registration process through the Uni was slightly confusing, in addition to various other admin tasks. So, it really is up to you to be adamant about sorting it out. The same goes for social situations. If you want friends, you have to go and make them; they aren't going to hold your hand like in most study abroad programs. If you want to not only be around other exchange students, you have to put yourself out there. That being said, I personally really appreciated the independence. I could exist organically as a student who is really going to the University and really living in Brighton rather than an American-college-engineered version of what "living abroad" is. The accommodation also usually groups the exchange students together, which can be a blessing or a curse depending on what you prefer. I was with full-time Sussex students, and I loved it, but I barely knew anyone else who was. It is much easier to list the negatives, but I genuinely loved it. I stayed until the very last day and have made lifelong friends. I'm even considering moving back to Brighton. It is an absolutely magical town with so much to do and great pubs.

I can not rave about the location of this university enough. As a student coming from the US, Sussex was perfectly situated for me to experience the UK by public transport as well as a nice closed off campus surrounded by natural beauty. The ease of the busses and trains and the proximity to Gatwick airport made travel into Brighton, London, and greater Europe so easy. Sussex offered many interesting classes and the unique opportunity to learn in a new country surrounded by a diverse student body.

I was quite worried about the stay abroad before I left my home country. You leave everything you know behind and dive headfirst into a new environment in terms of culture, people, living situation, cuisine, language, and academics. Looking back on it, I have to say the experience was absolutely worth it just for all the brilliant people I have met along the way. I now have friends from all around the world from Mexico and the U.S., all over Europe, to Hong Kong and Japan. I already made plans to meet some of them next summer and I am 100% richer just for the experience alone. England is expensive, though, so you should save up a bit and look for scholarship opportunities such as Erasmus+ to help. University life at Sussex has been very pleasant as well. But you can clearly see where my focus lies with this one. I'm not saying it will completely change you as a person, but I think it will give you a more global perspective on things, make you more appreciative of culture and different cultures around the world. On top of it all Sussex and Brighton are absolutely beautiful. If you can, you should absolutely consider studying abroad at Sussex. Overall, my entire experience was amazing but I wish there was more support academics wise. The grading and curriculum is SO ENTIRELY different compared to how it is in the US so writing essays is ENTIRELY different. The biggest factor was grading as the grading equivalency scale is not accurate at all with my home university based on how professors actually grade (this is based off not just my own experience but also other exchange students). It was also really hard for me to get registered into classes that fit my home university’s requirements. I went through over 20 classes (not exaggerating) and none of them worked so now I might not get a credit transferred and potentially lose a scholarship at my home university because i didn’t meet the credit requirements. I understand that this is obviously outside the Abroad team’s ability to help. The abroad team was so amazing and so helpful. No notes for them! Loved my experience but just wish it didn’t put me in such a position that I have to deal with now at my home university. Wouldn’t change it for a thing though, best 6 months of my life!

I never thought I would enjoy study abroad but my time at the University of Sussex proved me wrong. I had a great time being a student there. The classes were extremely interesting and thought provoking. I never felt overloaded with information or tasks. I still had the chance to visit other places in England and other European countries. The people I met were amazing and we still keep in contact and hopefully will continue to keep in contact. I loved the uni and the location and will hopefully visit in a few years and meet up with my friends. I would absolutely recommend studying abroad especially at the University of Sussex.

Overall, studying at the University of Sussex was an excellent experience. One of the biggest advantages is its location in Brighton, which offers excellent transport links to London and other major cities. Getting around is very convenient, and there's even a local bus that stops on campus, making commuting quick and easy. One aspect I particularly appreciated was the teaching style. Most modules consisted of one lecture and one seminar each week. The seminars gave us the opportunity to apply what we learned in lectures through discussions, debates, and interactive activities, making the learning experience much more engaging and practical rather than purely theoretical. The campus facilities were another highlight. Sussex has excellent amenities, including a Co-op store, library, gym, and student centre, all of which are well maintained and easily accessible. There are also plenty of accommodation options across campus, giving students a wide range of choices to suit different preferences. What impressed me the most, however, was the efficiency of the university's administrative system. Whether it was course registration, accommodation enquiries, or document-related requests, I never had to wait more than three working days for a response. It was by far the fastest and most reliable administrative support I have ever experienced from a university, which made the entire exchange process much smoother and far less stressful. Overall, I would highly recommend the University of Sussex to anyone considering studying abroad.

The chance that I’ve been given to study at Sussex is something I will be forever grateful for. I appreciated the campus, the people, the city and the help that that the UoS provided. Nonetheless I managed some troubles and difficult times as well, but it’s just part of the experience. What I learned about myself will be stuck with me forever.

I had a great time studying at the University of Sussex. I was really happy with the accomodation, and it was nice to have international flatmates. The freshers week was a great way to get to know Sussex and to make some new friends. The campus life was really nice, there were always activities and if you needed help there was always someone out there to offer help. The lectures were interesting. The only thing I didn't like was leaving after 3 months;)

I had such an amazing time studying abroad at the University of Sussex for the Autumn Semester 2025. Living in student accomodation allowed me to make close friendships with other exchange students from all different countries around the world. Brighton is an amazingly happy city and I would highly recommend Sussex for your study abroad or Erasmus experience!

My time at Sussex was unlike any other uni experience I've had thus far. Everyone was incredibly friendly, staff were helpful and there was something fun to do around every corner. I am so proud to have had this opportunity and especially to have met the people I met.

I was both excited and afraid when my plane took off that Friday back in September 2025. It was my first time leaving home, my family, my friends, everything that I have ever known. I met my first friend at the airport, and then we formed a strong bond with our flatmates. It's strange for me to think that I didn't know these people five months ago. And now that I am back home, I still feel them so close, even if they're far away. I loved my classes and seminars; my teachers were so passionate and good at teaching that they managed to make even the most boring topics interesting. Studying at Sussex Uni made me know a version of myself that I had never met before. The freedom, genuine connections, and fun trips... really made this experience one that I will forever cherish, and thankful that I had the chance to experience.

I will cherish my experience of studying abroad for the rest of my life. I have made great friends, lived in England for three months, tried living on a uni campus for the first time (at Charles University, we do not have a campus or a student-shared space in this way). I fell in love with England, truly, and it’s people. I would also like to commend the University of Sussex for the excelent level of teaching standards, student support and overall care. I would definitely recommend studying abroad there to other students as well.

The University of Sussex was the perfect study abroad program for someone looking for a less traditional route. As a visiting student I was fully immersed onto campus surrounded by full-time students from around the world. The university's close proximity to Brighton, South Downs National Park and the AmEx stadium ensured there was never a dull moment. The simple train ride to London also adds great value to this program.

I had the best time of my life studying at Sussex. Due to its location and proximity to an airport, I was able to travel to 6 different countries while I was abroad. I made so many best friends with the other international students. I only wish I got to socialize with the UK students more.

My semester abroad at Sussex was better than I ever could have imagined. I became so close with other students who were studying abroad and am still in touch with them. I only wish I could’ve gotten closer to the non-international students! My schedule and the location allowed me to travel to 8 different countries while I was there. I appreciated being on such a diverse campus.

Undertaking an exchange program is a once in a lifetime opportunity that i recommend all University student should complete if given the opportunity! The University of Sussex is located in a beautiful area surrounded by trees, fields and wildlife. I found the staff and students to all be very welcoming, making the transition to another country a lot easier!

Studying abroad at Sussex was one of the best decisions of my life. From experiencing and immersing myself within a new culture, to the lifelong friends I made, to the challenging and thought-provoking academics, and to the fun nightlife and social side at Sussex, it was everything I could have asked for. As an exchange student from Chicago, culture in the UK was very different and I was anxious at first, but immediately upon my arrival at Sussex, I met loads of great people that I now consider my close friends. Sussex offers a variety of clubs and sports that I engaged in, all of which led me to meeting new friends. The student-body in general is full of welcoming and friendly people. Brighton as a city is very diverse with a lively nightlife from a variety of pubs, restaurants, and clubs and feels like it is its own little world. I personally bought a bus pass and would constantly go into Brighton where I quickly learned where everything was located and experienced everything the city has to offer. Also, the professors at Sussex are engaging and caring, yet challenge you and push you to be the best version of yourself.

I really enjoyed my time at the University of Sussex. Classes were challenging and intriguing enough to keep me on my toes, but not overwhelming. Professors and support staff were helpful and available for questions. Student Wellbeing team was particularly helpful in navigating challenges that arose, they provided great support in light of serious issues. Social scene was a lot of fun—Brighton is a great town for students and anyone 18+. Tons of fun bars, clubs, and other nightlife opportunities, all easily accessible by bus and train from campus. I think it would be more fun to live off campus, in the actual city of Brighton itself. There's so much going on in Brighton; the university itself is great, but Brighton is the place to be. Living on campus wasn't bad, but it did mean I spent less time in the city itself, which I would have liked to get to explore even more.

It was a nice experience, mostly academic wise. The support was quite useful many times as for an Erasmus students some things are not so straightforward. The modules were really great, and I was mostly satisfied by them. The quality of life is the one thing that was a bit concerning, especially hygene level of other flatmates, but also in general. I would have preferred that the academic enlightment was backed by good food and nice living conditions, that would have helped the study experience.

My experience at the University of Sussex has been both challenging and rewarding. Moving from Spain to England was a big step for me, and while I was excited about the opportunity, I was also nervous about what lay ahead. Adapting to a new academic system and dealing with practical challenges. However, these obstacles helped me become more resilient and independent. Academically, Sussex has pushed me to expand my knowledge and skills. Working on projects, such as redesigning the eDreams website with Marta and Lucía, gave me valuable experience in teamwork and creative problem-solving. One of the most challenging parts of my academic journey has been learning MATLAB, but it’s something I now feel proud of, as it’s strengthened my analytical abilities. Beyond academics, I’ve really enjoyed being part of a diverse student community. It’s been a chance to meet people from different cultures, exchange ideas, and build lasting friendships. I’ve also learned to manage stress by using strategies like going for runs, listening to calming music, and staying connected with family and friends. Overall, my time at Sussex has been an incredible period of personal growth, preparing me for whatever comes next.

Choosing to study at the University of Sussex in Brighton was the best thing I could have done for myself as a 21 year old. Like many other individuals in their 20s, I was trying to find my footing in this complicated, yet exciting decade of life. I was craving growth and spontaneously decided to study abroad for my 2023 Winter Semester. My decision landed on Brighton, as I could feel its charm through pictures alone. After reading about the fascinating psychology research that the University of Sussex was involved in, I was sold. I made fast friends during initiation week, who would quickly become some of my favourite people. I joined the university soccer club (up the 1s!!!) and was enamored at how passionate every single coach and player was about the sport. I loved the seminar based courses, and interesting group projects that came along with these. Sussex aside, Brighton had my heart the second I hopped off the bus at Old Steine. The seaside, the lanes, the pier, the pub scene, and every square inch of the city helped make Brighton become my favourite place on earth. The peaceful campus that boards Stamner park, mixed with the buzz of the lanes and sea make for the perfect abroad experience.

Simply put: the best memories of my life were made on my abroad semester at the University of Sussex. This was such a welcoming environment, I felt at home from the moment I step foot on campus. It was easy to become close with my flatmates as due to social media groups through the university, we got in touch prior to moving in. Aside from flatmates and neighbours, forming close friendships is made easy through the many clubs and societies Sussex has to offer. Additionally, support is always made available through various staff and advisors that the university connects you with prior to your arrival. Any questions or concerns you have can always be addressed, whenever you need! Outside of academics, my support team encouraged/enabled me to explore the country, giving lots of helpful advice. I felt I had the time to experience anything my heart desired in England, and I simply can’t wait to go back and visit my friends and my country that I miss so dearly. See it, say it, sorted.

The brisk wind carried the salty scent of the English Channel as I stood atop the iconic white cliffs of Sussex, a favourite spot during my exchange semester at the University of Sussex. The expansive view was a metaphor for my journey—a horizon of opportunities that stretched as far as the eye could see. Every day brought something new: navigating a different academic system, tasting local flavours, and connecting with peers from around the globe. Classes at Sussex introduced me to perspectives I hadn’t encountered before, with professors emphasizing collaboration and critical thinking. Weekends were for discovery—London’s vibrant streets, Brighton’s eclectic charm, or simply wandering through the serene South Downs. Through these experiences, I didn’t just learn about a new culture; I learned about myself. This semester wasn’t just about academic credits; it was about growth, resilience, and broadening my view of the world. If you’re considering studying abroad, the University of Sussex offers an environment where you can thrive academically and personally. It’s a chance to live a story worth sharing.

My time at the University of Sussex was genuinely one of the best experiences of my life! The campus is beautiful, my housing was very nice, and every single person I met here has been unbelievably kind and welcoming. The courses that are offered are very diverse and interesting as well, and the university offers great support during your stay. I fell in love with the area and British culture during my time here, and I will forever be grateful that I got this opportunity. The only downsides I could name to my experience were the ongoing construction on campus, which can be a bit loud although you get used to it very quickly, and the cost of living and housing, which is quite a bit higher than my home country. Nevertheless these things did not impact my amazing experience here. I would recommend going here to anyone who's looking for a good, supportive and diverse university in the middle of lots of gorgeous nature and fun cities to explore.

My time at Sussex has been so fulfilling, and I am so grateful to have taken the steps to come here and meet all the wonderful people I have and been able to experience all the life changing memories created.
