Great experience studying abroad
January 14, 2026by: Rens Dekker - NetherlandsI had a great time studying at the University of Sussex. I was really happy with the accomodation, and it was nice to have international flatmates. The freshers week was a great way to get to know Sussex and to make some new friends. The campus life was really nice, there were always activities and if you needed help there was always someone out there to offer help. The lectures were interesting. The only thing I didn't like was leaving after 3 months;)

Living in student accomodation allowed me to make close friendships with other exchange students from all different countries around the world. Brighton is an amazingly happy city and I would highly recommend Sussex for your study abroad or Erasmus experience!
