GoAbroad

Gain hands-on experience through a directed work-study internship aligned with your academic interests. Students are placed in one of our on-campus research centers or program sites, where they contribute to meaningful projects under the guidance of both a Study Abroad faculty coordinator and an on-site faculty mentor. Fall and spring internships require 10 hours per week (130 total hours) and earn 3 academic credits. Summer internships (June–August) run 4–6 weeks, require 80 total hours, and award 2 academic credits, with weekly hours determined by program length. Throughout the program, students reflect on their professional growth through a mid-semester evaluation and a final paper detailing their contributions and learning outcomes. To ensure proper placement and preparation, applications must be completed at least two months prior to the internship start date.
