Program Overview
Spend 3 weeks in Seville improving your Spanish and learning about Spanish society and culture!
The program includes a course on Spanish Society and Culture in Spanish. The course examines Spain's challenges in a globalized world, including its state model and monarchy, regional and nationalistic tensions, population decline, diverse languages and cultures, immigration, education, health, gender, memory policies, and adapting to climate change in the Iberian Peninsula. Classes are held in the mornings to allow students to use their afternoons to explore the beautiful city of Seville and its surroundings.
To provide effective instruction, Pablo de Olavide University holds classes in modern, small-sized classrooms, usually with 8-12 students, and a maximum of 24.
