Volunteer Abroad in Nepal | United Planet
Program Overview
Volunteers in Nepal immerse themselves in a vibrant culture. Most famous for Mt. Everest, the country captures hearts because of its people and customs. The Nepalese are known for cooking hearty, flavorful meals and greeting others with "Namaste." While tourism is booming, Nepal still remains one of the poorest countries. Volunteers mostly work in rural communities.
Volunteers in Nepal can be caregivers at child care centers, teaching assistants at schools, and counselors for women and girls victimized by human trafficking.
