DISC is an immersive five-week summer program designed for college students interested in learning how to address the urgent issues of climate change, urban health, & social equity through built environment design. The full-time program fosters a multidisciplinary and international learning environment that empowers students with the tools and expertise necessary to craft innovative design-based solutions. DISC is open to eligible students from any college or university. International participants are welcome and encouraged to apply. No prior experience in design is necessary. Program Highlights
Identify and explore the major debates around global urbanization and sustainability.
Understand the potentials and limitations of design and technology interventions.
Construct a project, individually and as a group, that spans from research and concept to design and presentation.
