Spend two weeks living with an authentic Japanese host family while earning digital credentials at Lakeland University Japan’s campus in Tokyo. Designed for teenagers aged 14~17, this program combines four accredited university courses with hands-on cultural excursions throughout the city:
 1. Elementary Japanese Language
 2. Manga & Anime Studies
 3. Chanoyu (The Way of Tea)
 4. Intercultural Communication
Students commute daily by train like residents, enjoy home-cooked meals with their host family, and explore Tokyo’s iconic neighborhoods, from the fashion and youth culture districts of Shibuya and Harajuku to the historic temples of Asakusa and the anime and gaming center of Akihabara. A full-day trip to Kamakura, a historic coastal city known for its Great Buddha and traditional atmosphere, along with workshops in traditional calligraphy, sushi-making, and kimono dressing, further enriches the cultural experience.
