UAM’s Summer School of Economics and Business is a perfect opportunity to earn ECTS credits during the summer term. It is an exclusive 4-week program that comprises some of the university's regular high-quality courses, all taught in English by top professors and researchers of UAM’s Faculty of Economics and Business Studies. The Summer School brings together students from all over the world and some local students in a truly international environment. Offered courses are combined with social and cultural events, as well as academic field trips, which are not available during the regular semesters.
The SSEB aims to provide academic enrichment in cutting-edge Economics and Business disciplines such as Climate Change Economics, Financial Management in Multinational Firms, Designing and Implementing Global Marketing Programs, Business Negotiation Processes, and more. The program is divided into an Economics Track and a Business Track, each composed of two courses. Students can also choose one course from each Track and follow a Mixed Track.

A very interesting experience. The courses were given in the morning, which meant that I could enjoy the city and discover its many treasures in the afternoon. The finance module was quite comprehensive and enabled me to strengthen my knowledge in this area.
Summer 2024 was memorable in my life, i had the privilege to have summer course in UAM in it was the best experience in my academic life. The city the campus, the professors and classmates were amazing.
I studied Environmental Economics and Policy Analysis & International Finance. Although, I was only looking forward to the first course, International Finance pleasantly surprised me and sparked a newfound interest in the subject area. The courses are well timed with plenty of time to grab an affordable lunch and sight see with friends in the evening. The school also took the effort to plan trips for the students! The professors are kind and approachable and I’ve made some really good friends who I’m still in touch with. This is an incredible experience that I would highly recommend!
Amazing time at the autonomous university of Madrid. Loved my time there. Curriculum was taught in a good and understandable way. University was a bit far from the centre. Great city, great country and great experience.
