The Suwandi Foundation offers a hands-on social impact internship in Karangasem, Bali, Indonesia. We are a California-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit working in one community through long-term partnerships with Balinese educators and local leaders.

Our mission is to use education to help children expand their opportunities and break cycles of poverty. We support community learning centers that provide English language education, computer literacy, extracurricular activities, and confidence-building opportunities alongside public school education.

Interns focus on three areas: nonprofit development, English teaching, and personal growth. Participants work on a personalized social impact project, volunteer as after-school English co-teachers, and join cultural immersion activities.

This is a small, non-traditional internship where participants work closely with our grassroots team, receive individualized support, and gain firsthand experience in community-driven nonprofit work.
