You will learn how to: • Think and work like a fashion designer, developing your own ideas into wearable designs • Design pieces inspired by your favourite brands and current trends • Work with fabrics donated by local designers within a 7-mile radius • Create mood boards and design development sheets — just like industry professionals • Pattern cut, sew, and construct your own garments • Take your first steps into the fashion industry Whilst building valuable skills: • Creative confidence and communication • Fashion design and trend awareness • Fabric knowledge and material handling • Embellishment techniques • Accuracy and attention to detail • Machine and hand sewing You will leave with: • Your own design development sheets • A completed outfit designed and made entirely by you • A digital certificate of completion
