Central Asian Studies is an innovative program based in the fascinating region of Central Asia and combines intensive language or linguistics study with a range of regional studies courses. The semester program looks at geopolitics, policy, and demographics. The summer program offers two distinct tracks: one is broadly anthropological and the other is specifically focused on linguistic anthropology. No matter which session you choose, a robust travel component complements your studies, giving you wider, fuller, first-hand, practical perspectives on the issues that interest you most. Eligibility for this program includes: GPA of 2.5 or higher 18 years of age at the time of application At least four semesters of prior Russian language study
